REVIEW USDr. Daniel Yeoun is a board-certified gastroenterologist who provides compassionate, patient-centered care for digestive and liver conditions. He specializes in cancer and disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, with expertise in colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, polypectomy, capsule endoscopy, and liver elastography.
Dr. Yeoun earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from Nova Southeastern University. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, New York.
He is affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, Northwell Health, and The Brooklyn Hospital Center. His research and presentations have focused on colorectal cancer prevention, therapeutic endoscopy, Helicobacter pylori, and liver disease.
Dr. Yeoun has cared for diverse communities throughout New York. He is committed to helping patients understand their health and regularly supports community education on colorectal cancer, liver disease prevention, and access to care. He believes that educating patients and communities is an essential component of preventive medicine and long-term wellness.
He is a member of leading gastroenterology and liver disease organizations, including the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.
